Vortex Blaster

“Vortex Blaster” is a shoot ’em up game with speech. It is one of only two Sega SC-3000 games to feature digitised speech.

The object of the game is to penetrate as far into the vortex field as you can. You have to pass through five stages, and you must bomb the fuel depots to keep your fuel supply up. Attacks at each stage include UFO, meteor and alien fighter attacks. At the end of Stage 5, you must destroy the Alien Central Command Base.

If you succeed, you will start again at a higher level. If you fail, you crash into the force field.
